Motivation

Let me ask you this question:

Do you have the motivation to live a healthy happier lifestyle?  What about the motivation to help people realize and reach their dreams and goals?  What about the motivation to earn a little or a lot of extra income? What about the motivation to have FREEDOM? What would it mean to you to be your own boss, set your own hours, work your way, and to have the time to be with the people you loved the most without having to request that time?

If you do have that motivation, that driving force burning within you,  then I want you on my team!  Seriously!  This is such an amazing company (Beachbody offers the full package),  an incredible product (again seriously full package and I am proof of the product), and the biggest family you can become a part of (my team rocks)!

If not,  if you lack motivation,  what will it take to get that kind of motivation?  What is it that would light that fire inside of you?  I really want to know! I want you to look deep within yourself and ask yourself what would it take to make you want a better life?

I want to help! Its what I do! Its what I am here for! So how can I help you? I really want to know!

Choices

So today I decided to take my first official  run of the  season!  Woot Woot!  And after this run my mind went crazy!

Life is all about choices! We have the choice to be positive or negative!  And I want to ask you something: which of the two scenarios I'm about to post do you do?

Scenario  1:
Man that run sucked.
I was so slow
That was so hard
I cannot do this
I should stop
I will never be good at this
I use to be able to do more but man I've gone downhill

Or

Scenario 2:
Wow that run was intense
I see room for improvement
I will get faster
I can do this
I will never stop
I will master this
I can and I will

I'm not going to lie!  I totally came home and was stuck in scenario 1. Then I stopped myself and realized what I was doing! I was putting myself down.  Why would I do that to myself. I just did something incredible. I chose to go for a run, for myself, not because anyone was pushing me too! That is amazing!  That is something I would not normally  do. I struggle with running. It's not my go to exercise. But i did it! I should be lifting myself up! I am amazing!  I did it! I will do it again and I will only get better!

I challenge  all of you to make the choice to be and stay positive. Do not get stuck in scenario 1. Do not put yourself down.  You are incredible. Believe in yourself. Believe that you can! It's all a choice, and it's yours to make! Make the right choice!

Living Life to the Fullest

So this past weekend was a total blast! Why? Because we lived it to the fullest. We decided to have a getaway with some friends this weekend to Salt Lake City, Utah. Let me just say.... complete fun! We took the kids to the Hogle Zoo which also had a Jurrasic Park theme going (two kids are absolutely dinosaur fanatics...LOL) and then we did a lot of shopping around.

We had fun in the pool and relaxed in the hot tub.The next day we also took the kids to the aquarium. Wow... that was a fun experience!
The best thing about this was that not only did we get to go with some amazing friends but that the kids will have some amazing memories. I remember always going on vacations when I was younger and having a blast. I so want that for my daughter. To have these kinds of memories. It's what life is all about. Having fun, making memories, and leaving a legacy behind whether with family, friends, or your work or charity! Always live life to the fullest and make every moment count!

Make Time

Make time for the people who matter to you!

The other day while listening  to Carl the CEO  of Beachbody  talk I realized that this company (Beachbody) is all about helping people. Helping people to get healthy,  helping people to dream again,  and helping people to make their dreams a reality.

This right here is my dream! To be with the people who matter most to me! No worries, no one else to report to, living our lives the way we want!

My husband living his passion of making knives  for everyone to enjoy and me living my passion of helping more people in all the areas above. All the while enjoying every moment with our daughter!

What's your dream and do you realize that you have the potential  to make it a reality?
I'm making my dream a reality! Let me help make yours a reality too!

Dancing

Dancing has always been a passion of mine. I was a dancer throughout my child. I was a part of the Teton Valley Stars Team and later on I was on my high school's dance team. I LOVE dancing. I always have. I stopped dancing in high school because of the fact that I was never very healthy. Even though I was a dancer, I was NOT healthy.

I considered myself to be the "big girl" on the dance team. I always envied my teammates because to me most of them were what dancers should "look" like or be able to "perform" like. In my mind, I never looked the part or was able to do what most of them could. Add on the drama of high school anyways and a bunch of girls and dancing started to lose its appeal to me. Not to mention with me not being very healthy I was feeling the toll dancing was taking on my body. I HURT everywhere ALL the time. So I decided to pursue other options in high school and quit dancing. It was one of the hardest decisions I ever made.

However, I always find myself moving along with the music that's on whether its in the car, an elevator, out at a dance club, or just a restaurant. I still love dancing. I still move with the music. It still touches a part of me. I MISS it. I still consider myself not the typical dancer. I do not look the part (in my mind) but looks are not what makes a dancer! That is something I have to remind myself of. What makes a dancer? PASSION! If you have the passion to dance then you are a dancer! So dance to the fullest! Do not care about how you look. Listen to the music, let your body move with it, and dance!

Dancing is Passion! Dancing is fun! Dancing is fitness!

Why in the hell did I ever stop dancing. That is something I ask myself all the time! I loved it so much and watching my daughter in her dance class reminds me of how much I loved it. The joys of dancing with your friends, the excitement before the performances, the costumes, the makeup, the hairspray, and the complete madness of it all. I LOVED it all! I loved the competitions. I was good at Drill. The memories that were made. Priceless.

Sometimes I wonder if I should return to the dancing world for myself. See if I still have what it takes. Take lessons again. Get back into the game. Is it too late?

It's never too late for your passion! It's never to late to live to the fullest and to do what you LOVE to do! Believe in that! I am still constantly dancing in my home, or wherever I go, and I will continue to dance throughout my life. Maybe I will take a dance class again. What the hell right! Live it! Love it! and just DANCE!

Excuses

Not going to lie. Yesterday was totally one of those days where every excuse in the book comes out. Seriously: I kept telling myself: "You did two workouts the day before, you deserve a rest day", or "Your so tired your body needs to rest", "Your too sore your body needs to rest", or "You can totally switch your rest days around this week".....

Sound familiar?

How many times do we tell ourselves excuses? ALL THE TIME, right! Its been a long day, the kids have homework, I have to do dinner, and so on and so forth. It happens. We are human. Our days are incredibly busy with things we have planned let alone all the things that happen that were not planned.

Somehow though, we always make it work. Why because we have too! So why is our health and fitness any different. Why is taking care of ourselves not important? Seriously! When did this become ok?

Let me put it to you this way!

How can you take care of ALL the things that you do..... when you are no longer able to because of poor health? Even poor mental health strikes us down. We become depressed, lethargic, and un-motivated so all the things we do keep piling up and getting more and more behind which keeps that negative spiral spinning downward. The more unhealthy you become, the less you will be able to do for yourself, let alone your family, and any one else you want to help!

Taking care of ourselves is VERY IMPORTANT! It HAS TO BE A PRIORITY!

You cannot keep putting yourself off. You need to be healthy, happy, and your beautiful wonderful self to keep on top of all the amazing things you do everyday! So.... MAKE THE TIME!

It's not really that hard. You can do it. Just like you do EVERYTHING else. Make it a priority and get it done! Your health is VERY important!

So... today.... focus on where you are at health wise (emotionally, physically, mentally) and make a list. Are you where you want to be? Are you where you NEED to be?

If not, then it's time to make a few small changes to get you to where you WANT and NEED to be!

And guess what?

The best part: You do not have to do this alone! I have been there before and I am here to help out however I can. So let's get "YOU" taken care of! Message me or friend me on Facebook!  www.fb.com/RadForDFitness

Have a "YOU" day!

Success Story #1

You all know this man, or you should if you know me, Casey Radford!

This is my amazing husband. You may be curious as to why I'm posting him as my success story this week... well its because I am so super proud of him!
...
His transformation is not about weight or weightloss but of overall health. He has never been big or needed to lose any weight and most people always considered him healthy.
However his family has high risk for heart issues and 3 years ago his cholesterol was extremely high and so was his heart attack risk. Needless to say I was not prepared to worry about losing my husband because of heart issues.
I started him on Shakeology immediately! He now is doing Body Beast when he can to increase strength and to exercise. However at his most recent doctor appointment and checkup the doctor said his bad cholesterol has dropped 25 points and his good cholesterol is raising since he was first tested and is finally no longer at high risk for heart issues and is perfectly healthy!

Can I get a Woot Woot! Lol

Thank you Beachbody and Thank you Shakeology!

Shakeology is not just a protein shake people: it is your ultimate health shake!
