Work for it!
Boom baby! Focus T25 Cardio in the books for the day!
One thing that I have always found fascinating with any program is how much you improve throughout the program! Cardio five weeks ago was not my strong suit but today I was almost able to make it the full 25 minutes without a break and without modifications! Believe me, when I first started I was modifying more than I would have thought!
However, I'm getting faster and stronger everyday and working on achieving my goals again! Woot Woot! After such great results the first time around I'm excited to see the results this time around!
So today my advice is: do not be discouraged if you are just starting! Give yourself time, stick with your program, and you will improve throughout the program! You get what you work for not what you wish for! So stay strong! Together we've got this!

Who are you inspiring?
So, it's motivation Monday, and I'm not going to lie: I needed some SERIOUS motivation today because I am so sore from Saturday! Lol.. seriously I don't think I moved at all yesterday! So I was a little concerned about today because day 2 after a really good workout is ALWAYS worse! Lol
So when I woke up this morning I kind of panicked because yes I was hurting even more! I was literally thinking my body needs to rest one more day before I workout! That is just an excuse though!
Then my daughter asked me if I was going to workout because I have been every morning again! Boom! There was my motivation! My reason and my why holding me accountable to myself and to her!
So I said yes and we both went downstairs and worked out! She was with me the whole time asking if I needed water or my sweat towel and she would even join in on some of the exercises!
She is my Why! She is my heart! 💖 I am her mother and her example and I want to be the best I can be for her! So thank you Alli for keeping me motivated to stay strong and get it done!
You never know who you are inspiring and today I realized I am inspiring her!

Love Yourself
This morning I made it all about loving myself and treating myself! Lol
Every now and then we need to take time to ourselves and evaluate where we are, where we want to go, and prep for that journey!
So this morning for me was about taking that time for myself!
During that time I said several "mantras", "incantations ", or your very own personal affirmations! This is a great way to start off everyday! I challenge you to do this every day next week! Say your positive affirmations every morning and truly love your amazing self!

The road less traveled
Two years ago I had the right idea! I'm so happy that I decided to take this journey and to take that road less traveled.
The journey has been beautiful even with the wrong turns here and there. However, that's what makes your journey memorable. The wrong turns, the detours, the road construction, and the long long road ahead!
Take each turn and realize it's not wrong, it's just a part of your journey, and as long as you enjoy your journey, check your compass often, reevaluate your goals, then you will reach your destination!

Let Shit Go
Well needless to say: I NEEDED my workout today! Yesterday I learned some bad news about a topic and a person I rarely discuss and it was clinging to me and bugging me, then I allowed myself to be dragged into pointless debates about how far our country has fallen, and let's just say other stress factors were getting to me yesterday!
I think the only reason I didn't snap completely yesterday is because I worked out twice and was able to relieve a lot of the stress. However, the joy of a woman's mind is the simple fact that it NEVER shuts down and things constantly swirl and come back up to analyze all over again. *sigh*
But on a good note.... I got my workout done today and I'm forcing myself to get my booty to the library today for some good personal development books! I need some positive reinforcement back into my mind and personal development sure helps with that!
Not to mention all the positive people in my life who help me to be my positive happy self! I really love and appreciate those people in my life! The rest, need to be let go! Along with the stress and negativity that they bring!
I know I'm posting these long posts again but sometimes the mind needs to speak and social media gives us an outlet and maybe somewhere there is someone feeling the same way and this helped them to not feel so alone! So I'm speaking my mind lately! Lol

Creatures of Habit
So today was a very hard morning to even get out of bed let alone getup and workout. So I was literally coming up with every excuse to not workout. I mean it's Tuesday and I will just workout tonight anyways, right? So I don't need to workout now!
Then I was scrolling through Facebook and saw something Scottie Hobbs posted. "We are creatures of habit...."
Lately I have let myself fall back into some bad habits, especially with my workouts, and I have been feeling this funk for awhile because of those bad habits. So seeing that post reminded me that I if I want to get back to "Me" and my goals that I need to create those healthy habits again!
Plus my amazing coach Megan Plaizier Gutke has helped me to realize how much better I feel once I get that workout in! And it's soooo true!!! I ALWAYS feel better after I workout!
So I forced myself to just push play and start my workout! 25 minutes goes by fast and Boom baby I'm done with my workout! I feel better and happier now, plus accomplished. I can tackle all the items on my list now with a clear and focused conscience! Woot Woot!

Tough Love
Today it's about tough love!!!! To you but mostly for myself. There are days where you will not FEEL like working out, and not going to lie that is how I have felt all year long, but you know what: do it anyways!
I have been letting myself slack this year with excuses and issues that I have been personally having but it's time to push myself past those excuses and get myself back to where I want to be and back to feeling like myself!
This week I have not let myself miss a single workout even though all I wanted yesterday and today was a rest day! However, I pushed play and got it done!
Sometimes in life you are not going to want to do something, but if you know it's going to have a positive impact on yourself or someone else, give yourself some tough love and do it anyways! Get out of your comfort zone! Get moving! Work on yourself! Make a positive change and become a positive influence!
My goal is to work on myself so that I can be there for others who are counting on me to be at my best! 😉

Be your own BOSS!
Last week my husband had the opportunity to walk Alli to and from school! It was a very special day for Alli! Her dad is such a hard worker and she rarely gets to see him let alone have these special moments with him! It was one of her favorite walks to school!
The point of this story is because it's my husband's and my goal to become our own boss! To work our own schedules! To not report to anyone else or have to ask for time off for these special moments! We are Entrepreneurs! We have our passions and we are choosing to follow them! My husband through his passion of creating knives with SCAR Blades and myself by following my passion of living a healthier happier life through Beachbody and helping others to do the same!
Now I usually do not post much about the business side of what I do as a coach because I'm not the type of person who wants to be labeled as the "pushy salesperson"! Right? Lol
However, I truly LOVE what I do as a coach and helping others to not only live a healthier and happier lifestyle but to also help them build a business and earn some (or a lot 😉) extra income!

Push through the struggles moms!
You know "those" days where you wake up and you know that you should just roll over and go back to sleep? Yeah, that's me! Lol
The problem with going back to sleep is that once I woke up, I realized I slept funny on my neck, and it hurt bad, but the instant migraine when I woke up also made it difficult to even think about going back to sleep!
On a good note though, I got up and got ready and got Alli ready for school and to school by 9 am, only to realize, it's late start Monday which means she doesn't need to be there until 10 am! *sigh*
Migraine can go away now! Lol
However, Alli is making me feel better since I'm such a silly forgetful mamma! Lol... at least I can make her smile and laugh through my struggle this morning! Lol
Mom's are amazing at pushing through their struggles for the care and happiness of their kiddos! Lol

Smile
Everyday I have a goal to add value to someone, to motivate or encourage someone, or to help someone in some way through my social media!
This week as I have been walking my daughter to school it helps me to think about things to talk about or how I can help.
Today though I was kind of drawing a blank on how I could add value today when all of a sudden I had a great thought!
Want to know what it was?
I could add value to someone simply by making someone smile or giggle because I wanted to be my goofy self!
So today I did have a pretty great thought again while out walking! The power behind a smile is incredible and the joy in laughter is contagious! So I hope I made you smile or even better laugh and I really hope that you spread that smile and laughter to others today!

Self Doubt
There are days where everyone struggles with their self perception. I know that I do! I know so many others that do as well. Did you know that we are always our own hardest critics? We judge ourselves more harshly than anyone else.
This is something I struggle with daily. You might not think that or realize that because I tend to show more motivation, positivity, and fun than any self-doubt or negativity! Especially for and from myself! However, I struggle with self perception daily!
The difference is, that I try harder every day to change that negative self perception into something positive! I do daily incantations to myself! If you know Tony Robbins you know the power of incantations! It's something I encourage you to do daily as well!
I have to tell myself that I am strong, beautiful, fun, and a leader and example to others everyday! I have to tell myself that I am a positive person and influence! I have to tell myself that I live myself and it's because of that self love that others love me as well! I have to tell myself that the people meant to be in my life are in my life and others are not meant to be and let go and smile!
Struggle is real. Struggle is natural. We all face it. We all handle it in our own ways. Never think that you are the only one who struggles. We all do. The difference is in how we handle it.
I encourage you to find positive ways to handle your daily struggles, your daily self-doubt, your daily criticism of yourself! Learn to become your biggest advocate and cheerleader! Then help others to do the same!
Let's focus on creating a healthier mindset, along with a healthier, happier life!

Start Somewhere
~Transformation Tuesday ~
So I have heard several people state that they could never do what I do, that they would not have such a drastic transformation, that they do not need to lose any weight, that these programs or Shakeology does not work, and so on and so forth.
All I can say to them is that they are right. If you are not willing to work for it with the programs, then the programs will just sit on your shelf and not work for you. If you are not willing to drink Shakeology then your right it's not going to benefit you, if you are not ready to try and commit then it will not work because you have already made up your mind that it will not work!
Mind Over Matter! What you believe is what you get!
All I can say is that it worked for me! I drink Shakeology every day, I workout 5-6 times a week with a program, and I have lost 90 lbs with Beachbody! This company, these programs, and Shakeology have been my lifesaver with my health, fitness, and happiness! Plus I can earn extra income and pay it foward to help others to live healthier and happier lives as well!
So my advice today: do not compare yourself to someone else's "highlights" in his or her journey. Everyone has to start somewhere! So make up "your" mind for yourself that you are ready to start, to commit, and to be dedicated to yourself. If you are ready to commit them I am ready to commit to you to help you reach your goals, but I can only help you if you are ready!
Yes these programs work, yes Shakeology is amazing, and yes I am healthier and happier than I have ever been but the key takeaway is that you could be too! You just have to believe in yourself and start!

Mommy Timeout
There are times (multiple times if I'm honest with myself) where I fail as a parent. My little girl is just like me and knows exactly how to push my buttons. Naturally a good parent would not react first, but think through a child's behavior, but I on the other hand react first before thinking it through and logically talking out the situation with my daughter. I know I'm not the only parent who faces this struggle of reacting before thinking, but it still makes me feel like a bad parent!
When I get this feeling, after reacting and thinking and apologizing to my daughter and making her apologize to me and talking with her about things, I go to a mommy timeout!
This is where I go to think about how I can improve myself to stop reacting first. To remember my daughter is still learning. To remember she is just like me and that is not bad, but rather adorable and precious that I was granted this beautiful little mini me!
I have to remind myself that even though I failed in this situation that I am not a bad parent. I am still learning as well. I am a great mother! Just like my daughter is an amazing little girl!
This picture reminds me that my family is everything that I want and work hard for and why I work on improving myself so I can be better for them!

Summit 2015
Honestly, this was not my first Summit experience, heck it was not even my second experience, but my third, and I have to say that this Summit hit me the hardest (in all good ways, mostly)! The people I was travelling with were incredible, hilarious, and inspiring and made the trip even more fantastic. The keynote speakers were beyond incredible and it seemed like every single thing they said hit me on some personal level. The awards and celebrations again were OFF THE CHART! So now can you imagine why I have a hard time with where to begin?
The trip to Nashville consisted of myself, my coach, her husband, and one other lady. These people are the sweetest, funniest, and most caring people you will ever meet. The trip was full of laughs and shenanigans which makes travelling so much nicer because when you are driving and flying all day it can wipe you out, literally. So having people to make the trip fun and exciting is really the way to go. These amazing people totally make it worth all the travelling pitfalls that can happen.
The entire week in Nashville its also very easy to let certain things slip, your diet, your exercise, and all that jazz. I mean travelling is about vacation and relaxing, right? However, a true friend and coach will help you stay accountable even while on a business/vacation trip. We ate healthy, for the most part (ice cream was a must one night...LOL), and we exercised every single day (except me the day after our Super Workout, I took that day as my rest day). We stayed on track. I did not gain one pound while I was travelling. Not ONE! Woot Woot!
When you have the dedication, the discipline, and the support it makes things so much easier! That is one reason why I LOVE this team so much! That support is so incredible! We are there for each other and for others to help inspire, encourage, hold accountable, and motivate to live those healthier, happier, lifestyles.
The keynote speakers from Summit: Can I just say WOW! If you have not heard these people speak, then you really need to start! It's called YouTube and you can find them! The first one of course is also a Beachbody Celebrity Trainer, Chalene Johnson. She is just incredible. Not only is she health and fitness but she is also all about your relationships! Especially the most important relationship: Your spouse and your yourself! Seriously, this lady made me wish that my husband was with me on that trip because everything she said, I know, we were both feeling! She made me really appreciate my husband on so many levels and miss him the ENTIRE trip (even though I already did miss him it was like heart throbbing missing him)!
Dewitt Jones: National Geographic Photographer was also a speaker! This man has VISION! He makes you realize that you need to have that vision of the bigger picture so you do not get distracted by all the smaller daily distractions. That VISION will guide you to keep going and to never give up until you get that amazing SHOT! He takes a million pictures but it's that special ONE that just elevates your dreams and makes you realize "WHY" you are doing what you are doing. Seriously its about Vision, Passion, Purpose, and Creativity! My all time favorite quote from him, "I will SEE it because I BELIEVE it!" There is always more than one right answer so do not be afraid to keep trying and learning all the amazing answers that are out there! Master your craft and Master yourself! Alright one more quote, "Take the BEST in, and GIVE it all back!"
The next speaker was Simon Sinek and he is just incredible! He draws you in, literally, he is always drawing something on a board to help you visualize what he is speaking about. When you can see it, you can comprehend it better so you will usually see him drawing on a board. He discussed goals and vision as well but he related to how much we are social animals and how we respond to our environments. Even if you come from a negative environment you can CHANGE your environment. Surround yourself with positive, uplifting people, full of trust and caring, and you will thrive! It's human nature.
Then there was the Beachbody Challenge! Oh my gravy! This really draws me in! If you did not know I entered the Beachbody Challenge and I won the monthly contest once which put me into the drawing for the final spot. I was so excited and proud to be a part of the Beachbody Challenge. I have every intention of entering it again, and again, until I am on that stage as a finalist for the Beachbody Challenge. The stories along with the people who won this year are simply incredible. It is so amazing what you can accomplish when you believe in yourself! I believe that my story, like theirs, can inspire others to live healthier, happier lives! I will be on stage for the Beachbody Challenge! Woot Woot!
Beachbody is a family! This family is incredible and has such amazing leaders, inspiring coaches, and a full fledged team of support to help us all achieve our goals! THIS is a wonderful company with such amazing goals and aspirations! I am very proud to be a part of this family! This team is what it is all about! Not only do you strive to reach your goals but you help so many other people to reach theirs! You build together! You are stronger together! So never think that you have to do this alone! You do not! We are all here for you!
