Sitting here, waiting for the store to open, contemplating my goals for 2016 and the main thing that keeps coming to mind is how, right now (the day after Christmas), is that I should be home with my daughter, my family that's in town visiting, spending my weekend fully wrapped in their love and presence! Enjoying every precious moment with them!
Even more than that I want to be able to spend my time fully with them all week and weekend long on a permanent basis! My daughter is growing so quickly and I want to spend as much time with her as possible before the time comes that she goes off on her own!
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the Home Depot and it has been one of the greatest places I have worked for and the people are amazing, funny, and the greatest, but my heart is that of an entrepreneur! I want my own business, my own hours, my time spent how I want!
I have the means to make this dream a reality in 2016 for not only myself but for my family as well! This dream has reached a point where it needs to become reality and I am so excited for that to happen! I know that it will happen!
